The Faraar Movie is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film directed by Nishikant Kamat. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and Bharat Dhabolkar. This is an amazing movie. It's got action, heartwarming themes of fatherhood and family ties, the story of two brothers who grow up on opposite sides of the law with different motivations for their crimes - one brother goes after corruption in society while the other commits robberies to help troubled people like himself and his prostitute mother (who he loves dearly) survive - and the rivalry between two undercover agents in Mumbai Police who fall for each other during a secret mission gone wrong. The ending of this movie is something to look forward to. It's not what you expect it to be. This is one of the best movies I've seen lately (together with 'Baby' and 'Virumandi')! The Film has given A R Rahman the chance to do the complete background score and the soundtrack. The music was launched on 22 July 2016 at Tamasha, Bandra, Mumbai where A R Rahman performed live along with his team. He has used the voices of A R Rahman's daughter M Sooraj, Ishaan Chhabra and Aadhi P Shah for some songs in this film. The album consists of 5 songs and they were sung by Kathryn Taha and Akon. This is the first time after a gap of 9 years that A R Rahman has teamed up with Bollywood playback singer Kavita Seth and the duo is working together again for their sixth project, which has been titled "Thaandavam". The film released all over India on 14th September 2016 . It opened to very good box office collections, but was still far behind its predecessor, The Great Indian Dream Show. The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Sify gave 3 out of 5 stars saying "The Faraar doesn't offer anything very new except the fact that it's got Ajay Devgn in it. His films have been doing well at the ticket windows these days. In fact, films with his name on it have been ruling the box office for quite some time now. The movie has all the elements that will keep audiences engaged. Plus, it holds a strong message about how crime shouldn't be glorified". Behindwoods gave 2.8 out of 5 stars saying "The story is gripping and stands as a good action thriller with some twists and turns. If you can bear a predictable plot and too many characters, you’ll surely enjoy watching the film ". The film collected a total of ₹59.5 million (US$836,000) in its first five days at the box office.The Faraar Movie was released All over India on 14th September 2016 .
